CARE MODEL:

We offer Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and minors, which teaches survivors coping skills and how to process traumatic experiences, and includes their parents or caregivers to provide support and guidance.

We also offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adult survivors.

GOALS:

We want to empower survivors to take their voice and power back.

CARE MODEL:

We follow the Containment model as well as the Risk, Need and Responsivity model.

The Containment model emphasizes victim protection and public safety and implements strategies that depend on agency coordination and multi-disciplinary partnerships to hold sex offenders accountable. Those on probation are connected to their probation officer, one of our clinicians and a polygrapher.

The Risk, Need and Responsivity model asserts that criminal behavior can be reliably predicted and that specific treatments should focus on the higher-risk offenders.

Self-referrals are welcome.

GOALS:

As we do with sexual assault survivors, we use a three-level process to evaluate and treat offenders. The first level is about offenders taking responsibility and being accountable for their actions. Level two is creating healthy relationships with themselves and others, and level three is maintenance.

SERVICES:

Individual therapy for family members or significant others of both child sexual assault survivors and offenders.
